3 lbs chicken pieces
3 potatoes, peeled and cubed

How to make it:
Put all the ingredients in a crockpot. Cover and cook for four hours on low. Remove the chicken and take the meat off the bones. Return the chicken meat to the crockpot, cover it again and cook the soup for another four or five hours, or until the vegetables are soft.
Stir the soup occasionally and add some water if it seems to be drying out. Taste the soup, adjust the seasoning, and serve hot. This soup is nice served with a slice of crusty bread and butter.
